Today, let's talk about design strategy in product design. Sounds great, right? Setting goals and making it resonate throughout the entire company.
But how many companies create a strategy and then fail to stick to it? Far too many.
As soon as they see that the first step of the strategy doesn't bring stellar results, they stop and move on to something else. Staying consistent is key. Growth isn't linear; there are ups and downs along the way. Here's a list of KPIs to set for a project or a strategy.

What is a UX designer?
A UX designer focuses on creating products that provide a great user experience. They work on understanding user needs, designing solutions, testing prototypes, and ensuring the final product is easy to use and intuitive. UX roles are the ones solving user problems and ensuring that digital products meet both user expectations and business goals.
Key UX Roles
UX Designer: Designs user-friendly experiences based on research, testing, and feedback.
UX Researcher: Gathers data through user interviews, surveys, and testing to inform design decisions.
UI Designer: Focuses on how users interact with a product, like buttons, menus, and other visual interactive elements.
UX Writer: Crafts the text users see in digital products, making sure the language is clear, concise, and helpful.
Not a UX role
Graphic Designer: While they focus on visual aesthetics, they don't focus on usability or how users interact with the product.
Web Developer: Developers are responsible for coding and building the actual product, not designing how users will experience it.
Product Manager: A product manager handles the overall strategy and business aspects of a product; they focus on the user experience design but not as deeply as a UX Designer would.

Ciao! Talk to you in a month-ish 🕐
I'm Alessandra Stagno, a Lead Product Designer from Italy, now based in the Netherlands, with over 8 years of experience in Product Design – not the physical kind, though. The UX and UI kind. Yes, because in Italy, if you say you’re a Product Designer, people think you make chairs. Never made chairs – unfortunately. But give me a horrible website or software with a questionable user experience, and you’ll find me in a room fixing it, saying: “Oooh! Now it’s clean, and I understand what I’m supposed to do, let’s test it!”
